Laura A. Hernandez is a distinguished board-certified labor and employment litigator with over 8 years of comprehensive legal experience. She began her career representing individuals in various employment-related cases, including discrimination, wrongful termination, wage and hour disputes, and both individual and collective actions. Laura has successfully handled claims under pivotal laws such as Title VII, the ADA, ADEA, FLSA, FMLA, TCHRA, ERISA, and the Sarbanes-Oxley Act, addressing matters involving trade secrets, non-compete agreements, severance settlements, retaliation, whistleblower claims, defamation, and more.
Transitioning to defense work in April 2019, Laura has since provided expert counsel and representation to employers concerning the same complex statutes and claims, ensuring compliance and mitigating risk in the workplace.
In addition to her litigation expertise, Laura has excelled in transactional law, representing clients in numerous high-stakes acquisitions and intricate transactions.
